How can I become a Coach?
Modified on: 6/23/2009

We are always looking for keen and motivated volunteers to help with all aspects of running the Club from coaching to administration.

All our coaches must hold as minimum the FA Club Coach Award (FA Level 1) and have passed a FA CRB check. If you do not have these do not worry, as we will help you through the whole process of becoming a qualified FA Coach.

The FA Level 1 course is 28 hours and includes elements of practical and theory work. All candidates also complete a FA Child Protection workshop and an FA Emergency Aid qualification.

The Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) provides access to criminal record information through its Disclosure service. It enables the Club to make safer recruitment decisions by identifying candidates who may be unsuitable for certain work, especially that involving children.

If you are interested in coaching please contact the Club Secretary for more details and to arrange an interview.
